My latest #Indy500 take: storm chance remains for Sunday..my best guess for now is as early as 2pm, late as 6pm..but timing not set. Also wondering if there isn’t a brief impulse that comes thru Sun morning with a shower..worth at least a mention but will see if it shows up in the overnight data

So given they had decent downpours I’d call it 2 hours dry time from now (if they’ve even started)…the issue is gonna be what arrives within/after that time period which is gonna reset any drying that’s accomplished…radar looked like maybe a gap would develop…but filling in now

Here’s where I’m at with the weekend forecast..timing is not as straight-forward as today’s rain as it’s a different set-up..bottom-line there’s a rain chance at any time Sat..but think most likely mid-morning to early afternoon. Outside of early AM storm, Sunday looks ok…tho hot and humid.

Initial #Indy500 practice/quals forecast: Tue looks good..then rain overnight..so possible drying needed Wed AM, but rest of day is dry. Thu dry. Fri and beyond almost certain to change this far out…but long-range suggests rain chances are late Fri/early Sat and then Sun PM…for now
