It’s my birthday, so I launched a Patreon and released a comic I’ve been overthinking for years. Radio Daze follows a Calgarian teen who inherits her grandfather’s ham radio gear and starts a secret basement pirate broadcast. Each strip pairs with a song = mixtape. Link in the thread.
For awards season, I'd like to take a moment to hype FF's 2025 cover artists. FF's cover art is commissioned, based on stories from each issue, and @abistevensart.bsky.social @almosthomefree.bsky.social and @evelynepark.bsky.social did an incredible job of bringing these stories to life! 1/4

This was the Fire Bug look that @almosthomefree.bsky.social homaged when he did this incredible "Black Cats Team-Up" commission for me — still one of my all-time favorite commissions and one that I totally have a story written up for in my head.
John Jakala@jjakala.bsky.social · 2y agoMail call! It's the massive 18x24 Treasury-Sized Black Cats Team-Up!
