Here me out... its the animators loving Stolas more over the years and putting it into the animation. When I look at a lot of other shows, the "style-match" fanart oftentimes can look much more polished because the fans actually love the characters while animators may sometimes just be doing a job.

okay genuinely tho — obviously every season gets an animation upgrade and everyone is looking so gorgeous but WHAT are the animators putting in the water, genuinely what is the secret difference making Stolas look SO BEAUTIFUL in this short and the teaser?? something has changed and he’s so hot

I hate it when Stolas hater make undeserved excuses for Stella. Like HB fans are yaoi lovers who only love Stolas because yaoi and Stella did nothing wrong by because she was forced into marriage (somehow forgetting Stolas has also been through everything she has)

The problem with the marriage is that it is forced upon them. It isn't the case of 'someone got married and lied to their partner', it's the case of 'we are stuck in a marriage legally'. Stolas tried to make it bearable while Stella chose to abuse him. It's that simple. It's not even cheating 😭

Making fandom spaces open to criticism is so important which is why it sucks when the critical areas of a fandom are so toxic. “I wish the designs did better at conveying age” is valid but it’s sooooo hard to engage with when they say it like “check out this yaoi style design” 💩 #hazbinhotel

I feel like choosing to do tabling (even though I have yet to actually go to any events) has forced me to get out of my artistic comfort zone for the first time since 2021. I think it’s easier to do things differently if you give yourself a really good reason.
