Playing solo games in groups sounds counter-intuitive, but it's great, and it overcomes some real challenges TTRPGs face: ✔️ No GM ✔️ No prep ✔️ Drop in, drop out (no short-term commitment) ✔️ One-shots (no long-term commitment) ... while keeping so many of the good things, like meeting new friends!

I love seeing people turn solo games into group and/or "alone together" games! There was an organized play of multiplayer You are a Muffin at Save Against Fear a few years ago, and seeing it stuck with me. It's what inspired the extra Head Mushroom rules in the new We Are Mushrooms.

Had the chance to play a session of this at GenCon. Went in blind but was intrigued by the premise. Based on appearances I was expecting something more Borg-y but it was actually very narrative. Liked it a lot. My guy Guido even got the kill-shot on the necromancer taking over the villa lol
