Happy Staff Pick Saturday! 🔆 Today, Lena recommends "Plastic" by Scott Guild: "'The Truman Show' meets a Polly Pocket play session that would’ve made your parents send you to therapy. The dialogue is purposefully weird so take a peek– this book won’t be for everyone, but oh boy was it for me!"

We all love John Green! No, really. John signed 900 books in the UBC before our doubleheader (2 shows!) book event day. Almost everyone working snuck in to say hi and let him know what all his work meant to them and he was so lovely. Booksmith is grateful he spent the day with us. What a swell guy!
