A powerful presentation from Honor the Earth today on the historical timeline of settler colonialism and its impact on Indigenous peoples, land, culture and sovereignty. From the loss of land and attempts to suppress culture to ongoing struggles for sovereignty, rights and environmental justice.

Indigenous activists were welcomed to Derry at a reception at Ulster University. This week they’ll meet civic leaders, activists and cultural organisations, sharing experiences around culture, language, land and resistance.

Free Monday admission for local residents at the Museum of Free Derry has been extended until 21 December. Students can also continue to visit for half price, giving more people the chance to spend time exploring the story of Free Derry, Bloody Sunday and civil rights. Walk-in admission only.
