We had a wicked storm last night. Really grateful that my power stayed on, there were a lot of outages. Got 1.5 inches of rain which will help a lot with drought recovery. ⛈️ Happy #Caturday! 😻

This morning I found my Mexican Sunflower plant lying on the ground. I think the wind took it down last night along with its stake. It was very tall and top-heavy so not a big surprise. It snapped at the base so there was no salvaging it. I cut it up and put it in the compost pile. 😔🌱🦋

An exciting #WildflowerWednesday ! On this morning's walk, I saw one I've never seen before: Carolina Milkvine aka Carolina Spinypod. It was climbing other plants in a field. #nativeplants
