A message for my trans sisters, especially the older ones. I’m living proof it’s never too late. I transitioned at 66 and just turned 70 this week. I’m so happy I can finally be comfortable in my own skin. I’ve had more adventures in the past 3+ years than I ever could have imagined.

It's one of the biggest protests and one of the biggest celebrations...the NYC Pride March! I was proud to serve as a grand marshal with four others; Dominique Jackson, Bowen Yang, Peppermint & Gays Against Guns. www.instagram.com/reel/DaOBLrB...

I continue to be astonished at how MAGA continues to perseverate about transgender folks. I'd like to offer a variation on Winston Churchill's famous WWII quote. "Never have so many been so obsessed by so few."

My presentation today at The Public Theater for The People’s Filibuster.
I'm honored to be a part of an amazing lineup Saturday at The Public Theater. It's The People's Filibuster and it includes a number of Broadway stars. I'm scheduled to read my text between 2 and 3. The event will be livestreamed. publictheater.org/productions/...

I was also thrilled to be the first to publicly introduce Mayor Mamdani and First Lady Rama Duwaji.
The start of the inauguration. They gave me an opportunity to introduce myself to the crowd.
The new year starts off on a high note for me. I'll be the announcer for the inauguration of Zohran Mamdani as the next mayor of the City of New York.
Wow! Nearly 1,000 followers in the last few days. Thank you! I need to post more content. A link I had on a previous post is broken so here's a new one for the short film (3:47) about me. This won several awards, including a Grand Clio and a Gold Cannes Lion. vimeo.com/1042302915

Raising trans visibility is one of my life goals. I never know where it’s going to take me. Last night it was being the public address announcer for a half inning at the Brooklyn Cyclones game.
Hey there, Bluesky friends & followers! What (if anything) would you like to see me post about? I'm known for a couple of things. One is transportation communications and the other is being a fairly public trans woman. Here's an example where they intersect: www.intransit.nyc/short-film

We won the best documentary short award at the Garden State Film Festival!
So excited to have my film, In Transit, being shown at the Garden State Film Festival this month! #GSFF
Bernie Wagenblast, the iconic voice of @mta.info subways, has a message, the day after the feds took the letter "T" referring to trans people, off websites about the Stonewall National Monument. @thecity.bsky.social
Thank you for your support! You don't know how much it means. At a time when many in positions of power have come out against trans and non-binary people, it gives me strength and hope to see those who know me express their love. 🏳️⚧️ #trans #transgender
Part 2. I'm also the voice of the AirTrain at EWR and on PATCO in NJ/Philly. I recently made my recording debut as the voice of the train conductor on the Warriors album by Lin-Manuel Miranda & Eisa Davis. Here's a short film that tells you more about me. www.intransit.nyc/short-film

By way of introduction, here's just a bit about me, part 1. I was once a NYC traffic reporter and later became a transportation journalist. I'm probably best known as one of the voices of the NYC subways (Please stand away from the platform edge).
Thought I'd make my first post here by just saying, "hello." It's great to be here and please feel free to follow me.
