I have tried Gaussian Splats in Blender before and they were a headache full of compromises and caveats. Native support with full render pipeline support is a game changer. I can not stress enough how big this is!!
That last post was a quick proof-of-concept test of Blender's initial native support for Gaussian Splats which was JUST added to last night's 5.3 alpha build. You can even set the points to diffused shading which allows them to catch light and cast shadow! Works with Cycles and EEVEE! AAAH!!!

A great way to start your day!
While people romanticize using or emulating film cameras, let's not forget the turn-of-the-millennium digital progenitors. Like this 1.6 Megapixel Sony Mavica MVC-FD90 which can fit five full-quality JPEGs on a single 1.5" 1.44MB floppy disk.

I do have these from a while ago I can repost for #voreday. Ashley belongs to @ashleycat.bsky.social
Hey all, I'm still on hiatus working through life stuff so I don't have anything new. Knowing today is "vore day" I did want to share a musing. While it fully isn't my thing, I love the power dynamic of mouthplay and intimidation. To know there is a danger is thrilling.
The Gray Cartoon Pony's "Meet the Gargoyle" animation is a visual treat. If you appreciate skillful animation that amplifies a character's personality without distorting it, this is the one to watch. I know nothing about Deadlock but she is now my favorite character.

Without saying your age, what's your favorite movie that came out when you were 18? This beat Treasure Planet ever so slightly. While I love both, I feel Lilo and Stitch is overall a better movie.

The IRS has been firing people and using more automated systems with less human verification. I have had a payment plan in effect for a while and now it is double charging. Every month I get panic-triggering "pay it all or else" letters even though I have a payment plan.
