Newfoundland blob mystery solved — maybe
A scientist at Newfoundland’s Memorial University says he’s run tests on the mysterious blobs that have washed up in Placentia Bay, identifying the substance as polyvinyl acetate, a compound often used in industrial adhesive. The source of the blobs remains unknown.
