as incredible as it is that a progressive candidate could win an election while being outspent 11 to 1, the fact that the race was so close still reveals how much money does in fact matter cuz straight up there was no reason to vote for that woman

one thing about the "just talk about the music" argument is that even if you do, that woman's obvious eating disorder would still be relevant because it is increasingly informing her work. you cannot engage with her art without acknowledging what we all know is happening.

two things I find significant about the Jared Leto allegations publicized in 2025 and 2026: 1) even in his pursuit of minors, he hardly exhibits any actual "grooming" behaviors. conversations become sexual almost immediately and the assaults come out of nowhere.
