The only joke in the Clacton by election is that Farage has got away with so much for so long. And unfortunately the BBC and other broadcasters have been complicit in that. Count Binface isn't the problem. He's highlighting the absurdity.

Really important that this story gets out there. Classic Kremlin disinfomation and smear campaign and lots of people even on this site fell for it. inews.co.uk/news/starmer...
Starmer was targeted by sex worker conspiracy straight from Putin's playbook
It was a conspiracy shared by a handful of social media accounts and ultimately ended up in Russian state media

Sharing this poem again because I think the world needs these words now more than ever.
Immigrants & asylum seekers are not our enemies. They are not responsible for the austerity, privatisation, erosion of civic life, thinning of democracy and concentration of power we suffer. But they're being punished for these things. Punished at the behest of the very people who *are* responsible.
Everyone on X and elsewhere who called for a violent response should be charged with incitement. Everyone involved in the pogrom should be locked up with exemplary sentences. Govt should make it clear that will be the response in future anywhere else. Enough.
If you earned £100,000 per year (and spent none of it), it would still take you *10 million years* to earn the £1 trillion that Musk is soon going to be worth. That's the difference between being "well off" and being super-rich — and that's why we need a #SuperWealthTax
Brexit Racism Russian bribes Christofascist Trump links Clacton house purchase Multiple jobs Tice’s tax The Epstein files The ruinous policies The inept councils The wild corruption… For love of god. When will Farage be held to account? Once he’s been red-carpeted into No.10 and it’s far too late?
So we're all just letting Farage get away with the £5 million "gift" huh.

Since this is apparently a resigning matter, I’ll just leave this here… www.theguardian.com/politics/202...
Nigel Farage uses private company to pay less tax on GB News earnings
Exclusive: Reform leader’s use of personal services firm is a practice criticised across the political spectrum
theguardian.com
Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell. Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass. That, right there, is the problem.
As we mark the International Day for the Remembrance of the Slave Trade and its Abolition, we honour those who endured unimaginable suffering. Our city’s streets must tell the full story of our history so that we can all learn from it.
It is very nearly the tenth anniversary of that brief moment when, for 2 or 3 days, British newspapers remembered refugees are desperate human beings who need our help, rather than scum that it's okay to threaten with violence.
The threat to our society is not from asylum seekers in small boats. It’s from politicians and media cynically whipping up fear and prejudice, labelling them all as criminals, inciting hatred against people for where and what they’ve fled from. It must stop. For all our sakes. It’s deeply sinister.
