A little explanation about Citron's ability! 🍋 The concept of the Blessing (加護)—also known in my story as the "Explosion Factor"—was inspired by the many interpretations of Aether, Akasha, and the Akashic Records. Citron is one of the Blessed and has extremely heightened senses. Among them, he's the only one capable of perceiving the "pure Blessing" that exists in the sky. By combining that perception with his ability to "search" for people, places, or anything connected to him, he can locate individuals or even places he's seen before—almost like a living GPS or Google Maps bookmark system. He can also use the spatial "gate" naturally possessed by the Blessed to connect different spaces together. This is how, in my story's distant past, he unconsciously opened portals and sent his children—including his infant daughter, Lemon—into the City. In combat, Citron can briefly slip into a subspace that overlaps with reality. While hidden there, he becomes invisible, but he also loses sight of his opponent. Instead, he relies on his search ability to sense their location and swings into seemingly empty space, overlapping his attacks with the real world. It looks reckless and wasteful from the outside, but that's exactly how his fighting style works.
