Bit of a curveball, but Josh Conerly is a phenomenal pick by the #Commanders. Simply didn't give up sacks against great competition in college on more than 1,000 pass pro snaps. Maybe this means Coleman does kick inside, where I think he's more natural. Adam Peters playing 4-D chess. #HTTC

According to JP Finlay, AP wants to make Terry a "Commander for a long time". Curious everyone's thoughts on the WR market right now. I want him here for life. He'd retire an all-timer in DC. But can we pay him market value now, and be team-friendly enough when it comes time to extend #JD5? #HTTC

Michael Gallup feels like a "maybe he'll provide some depth" signing. Oft-injured, productive in spurts, decent size. Maybe he catches 15 balls, maybe he collects a check on IR, maybe it's DQ doing him a favor and giving him a camp shot. Not really a net positive or negative for me. #HTTC

Morning #HTTC post, I want to hear everyone's favorite team memory. Mine is really my first memory of being a fan: Doug Williams leading what was the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history. Timmy Smith STILL being a trivia answer. Ricky and Gary were untouchable once they got rolling. What's yours?

Slow news day for #HTTC, so we'll just throw up an appreciation post for JH, AP, DQ. It's been what feels like an eternity since this franchise felt this cohesive and functional. Decisive and deliberate off-season so far. Sustainable success. Couldn't have imagined this 5 years ago.

With all the new faces (I haven't even discussed Wise helping in the run game on defense), we can't forget the value in keeping our own. Deiter was a valuable utility lineman last year, and Noah Brown provides size along with being a good down field blocker. Nice mix of fresh and familiar. #HTTC

Any other #HTTC fans still getting used to the feeling of having a competent front office? Like... "I don't know what to do with my hands". Chef Adam and Co are decisive and purposeful, something we haven't had in a very long time. It's beautiful.

Jonathan Jones to #HTTC makes sense. Affordable vet who fits scheme nicely. Interest last year in a trade, eventually we landed Lattimore. Full off-season with them, maybe Mikey to the slot primarily, or it's a nice rotation for matchups. Mix in a rookie or two, shaping up the secondary.

As chef Adam continues to cook, a couple savvy vet moves. Love keeping Mariota, once Geno to Vegas and Darnold to Seattle materialized, I was hopeful we'd keep a guy that #JD5 was tight with. He won us a game against Dallas, and nurtured the Panthers win. Jonathan Jones thoughts in a moment #HTTC

The Will Harris move is interesting. He didn't have a great 2024 based on metrics, but played everywhere. I know DQ and JW value interchangeability and versatility. Harris brings that. I'm not sure it's a great replacement for Chinn, but it saves money. I still look at the draft at safety. #HTTC

Feels like AP and Co have had a great off-season so far. Locking up another of our own, a great blocker at the TE position. Very curious how the draft plays out, knowing that we have some positions of needs, but also that some of that has been addressed. Best player available is a luxury. #HTTC

Well then... Laremy Tunsil graded as the sixth-best OLineman in pass-blocking, and recorded the second best pass-blocking efficiency rate in 2024, according to #PFF. Jayden gets a blindside protector, think this makes Coleman our LG (maybe RT?) going forward. Don't hate the pricetag, either. #HTTC

Javon Kinlaw, 3 years, up to $45M... Not bad. Familiarity and fit. I'm curious to see if there's a move off Payne, or if we keep the rotation depth that both Peters and Quinn cherish. I'd prefer staying with Payne and giving Newton a bigger portion of the snaps (everyone stays fresher). #HTTC

Ertz is back on a pretty friendly deal for both sides, 1 year up to $9M. Great safety blanket and leader last season. I like it, but do hope we see more of Sinnott this year. I think he has solid potential to be the answer long term. #HTTC

#HTTC shopping list: Keep our own (Wagner✅, Chinn, Way, Ertz) ... Culture builders Outside CB (Ward rebound year, fresh start) OLine (Cam and/or Wills, Jenkins (Cosmi rehab), draft depth) Edge (Garrett likely too much, Landry right price) RB (OSU hosses if early, Marks replace Ekeler Day 3)

First post, early eval of the Commanders off-season. One word: Intentional Allen wasn't in theie future. Never likely to find a trade partner. Save the cap, maybe he resurges elsewhere. Deebo was inexpensive, and Allen's release washes the cap. Build around #JD5, get stronger on defense. #HTTC
