sorry i don't trust a messaging application that is only available on a single platform, marketed towards one social media's users, and is "e2ee" with 0 independent audits of their protocol or servers. i get that it's still early for them, but the red flags keep piling up

aegisiondure @equalnotequals.com · 15h agothis isn't very popular to say, but for me personally, it was good that i had unrestricted internet access when i was a minor. i was aware of what i was doing and enjoyed it. i don't look back on it and go "well that was a mistake", i look back on it and wish i could do it for the first time again

computer literacy education in the united states failed by assuming the windows 95-era conception of the desktop metaphor was the foregone conclusion rather than a stepping stone to one day be replaced.
