Sincerity is a precious resource The people providing it are just as valuable It would be far better to leave the world behind having reinforced the values you lived by and actually standing for something, than to spend your life painting over everything meaningful with irony and indifference.
🦷👁️Alex Rochon👁️🦷@alexrochonva.bsky.social · 2w agoMaybe I’m going on my high-horse a bit, but I’ve always had a quiet disdain for irony-pilled humour. While a detached mindset can be funny in moderation, I think the world needs more sincerity and genuine care, rather than less of it. Call me a fuckin’ Boy Scout, but eh. I literally was one.
I saw this image today and im dying, dude. Why is it so on point???

In 1 hour it's the start of the final day of the subathon! We'll be opening with some crowd control with a few games, then we'll be taking a trip to my wall of Wii games and playing some games off that shelf, and finally, we'll have a shuffler of games from my childhood that you can add games to!
Schedule for the week! Today's the last day of the subathon, then after that we're back on normal schedule. Playing Metroid 2 on Wednesday, and starting MOUSE: PI for Hire on Thursday. That's all pending exhaustion not kicking my butt after the subathon.
Thanks, everyone for the birthday wishes today. Here's to another year of *checks notes* the exact same thing I do. Torment others with weird games
