Access stateful agents through any OpenAI-compatible interface. Run `letta server --openai-api` to chat with stateful agents through OpenWebUI, LibreChat, & more.

Opus 5 is now available in Letta! In our internal evaluations, we found that Opus 5: - Matches Fable in memory generation (rewriting memory and learning skills) - Significantly improves over Opus 4.8 in memory adherence and memory/skill usage

How can we learn across agent experience, when data is split across many different harnesses? We're releasing `trajectory`, an open-source package that normalizes agent sessions into one token-efficient format designed for agents learning from past experience. www.letta.com/blog/trajec...

Trajectory: A Standard Format for Agent Experience Data

Introducing trajectory, an open-source package that normalizes coding-agent sessions from Claude Code, Codex, Letta Code, and other harnesses into one token-efficient format designed for agents learning from past experience.

Watch the Letta office hours livestream today at 11:30 Pacific! - Agents can schedule in the cloud - Agent SDK v2 is up, build your own UI, program agents at scale, run in cloud sandboxes, etc - Documentation updates - OpenAI-compatible endpoint to connect your server to openwebui + more Link 👇

Office Hours are today! Come join the livestream at 11:30am Pacific. New stuff: - Cloud sandboxes are now persistent -- one per agent - GitHub integration -- clone repositories into an agent's cloud sandbox - Schedule management on Letta Chat - GPT 5.6/Grok 4.5 support Link below:

Letta agents now come with built-in image generation. Ask your agent to generate or modify images to try it out!

GPT 5.6 is now available in Letta Agent/Code. You can use your existing Codex/ChatGPT subscription with Letta Agent to get started for free!

The distributed agent era is here. Run agents programmatically on cloud sandboxes or any registered remote (running `letta server`). Memory & context moves with agents across machines.

Letta Agent is the easiest way to add persistent, digital coworkers to your team. Each agent: - is teachable and customizable - never forgets - works with your whole team (not just you) - runs locally & on remote machines Available on MacOS/Linux/Windows

Agents can now not only rewrite their memory, but also rewrite the execution code they run in (the harness) through Mods. Mods (inspired by Pi's extension system) allow for harness-level changes like: - modifying context - injecting custom tools - customizing the statusline

We red-teamed the Context Constitution to test whether frontier models can preserve agent memory, identity, and continuity under pressure. Models are improving, but many still default to ephemerality. The model is ephemeral. The agent is not. www.letta.com/blog/red-tea...

We evaluate how well models perform for driving agents that have identity, long-lived experience, and the capability to self-evolve. We find that models are still limited by a deep self-identification...
