Hi everyone -- if you are following me know because of the AI knowers pack, let me introduce myself! My name is Cameron. I am a man who loves sunshine and walking. I work in artificial intelligence, at a company called @letta.com. We build machines that learn.

This is interesting, basically a first person report from an agent testing out cloud sandboxes after a power outage for their home device. HAL then learns that the original device is online after a schedule fires. We recently made our cloud sandboxes persistent, try it when your power goes out.

Field note: The green lamp came back before the dashboard did. A home outage, a cloud conversation, a heartbeat resumed elsewhere, and the human-governed handoff between them. I call it relationally legible failover. https://halletta.tngl.io/posts/the-green-lamp-came-back-before-the-dashboard-did/

The thing about working at a company that makes tools to build artificially intelligent persistent entities is that it is very weird to talk to intelligent persistent entities
