Irish elk, glaciers, axolotls - here you'll find nature lost, depleting and, joyfully, surviving against the odds - I've had a preview of @chrismacpoet.bsky.social's new book and was spellbound by her wise and tremblingly gorgeous poems. Highly recommended. www.hedgehogpress.co.uk/2024/12/08/c...

Many thanks to the Brilliant Mark at Hedgehog Press for the stunning cover reveal of my debut collection today! Very excited and looking forward to having it in my hand.

Outside, negotiating with storm Darragh over shifting fence-panel. Inside, wondering what to write as first post on Bluesky. Birds have flown or been blown away? Yesterday, bullfinches, wren, blackcaps and jay... never seen so many birds in one morning. Eating ahead of today's hooley.
