Playtests have told me that controls are too complicated. So the new tutorial will just guide you through making a full animated scene. Fish brush > color gradients > randomization and size settings > animation > scrapbook. That should work... #indie #gamedev #art #crochet 🧶

I might not add layers... Too much of a hassle, with 0 additional benefit. The scrapbook already has layering. I like keeping that separate from the drawing part. I like that you have to think about arrangement before you start making. Fits with the crochet vibe. #indie #gamedev #art #crochet 🧶

Animations can now be saved to scrapbook!! Turns out I was giving myself a headache for no reason. I just reused the save-and-load logic to rebuild the crochet workspace for a saved animation... which is somehow the most efficient way to do this. #indie #gamedev #art #crochet🧶
