As others have noted, primary rarely has changing rooms so it’s not a surprising result although it is perhaps surprising that it took Covid to make people realise this was a sensible policy.

Very perceptive. I think this is why we are seeing Reform raising issues of ethnic minorities dominating grammar schools. It’s the kind of integration they claim to support but it isn’t the Good Old Days….

I’d love to see some polling on the decision to charge Captain Thugwash because it feels that Reform are putting themselves on the wrong side of public opinion again.

Only 3 chapters in but Pure Invention by @mattalt.bsky.social alread my feels like it will be my favourite non-fiction book I read this year. The cover is superb as well.
Fascinating column. Makes you wonder if what actually kills off grammar schools might be racists who don’t like the way they are filling up with immigrants.

Incredible how things change. My daughter (just going to uni) was part of a “bulge” extra class in SW London that they had to put on to accommodate the mini baby boom in the late 90s.
