What is this constant nonsense about how people shouldn't be judged for their past actions and comments and affiliations. Of course they should. What else should they be judged for if not that
Again this goes back to one of my overarching points. What does this guy believe in? What is his positive case? Or is it just scrapping with his perceived enemies?

Not to go all Joxley, but the utter collapse of a sense of community pride and social responsibility within the Conservative party is at the heart of their current woes.

A recent essay scored 17%. She questioned what the AI thought was AI, since she hadn’t used it. The answer: the uni-issued cover page showing student ID, faculty etc. 🤦🏻♂️
Ok, not exactly my town, but used to often stay for work opposite the Dragon Mart in Dubai. Now, I know what you are picturing for a Dubai mall. Splendour, wonder, extravagance. This is not it. It was apparently the result of a regulatory quirk requiring importers to have a shop front somewhere.

Every time I hear about Labour NEC elections, I understand the Conservative Party's disdain for internal democracy more and more.
This is good. I'd also say across lots of fields, grifters are abundent because so many people make willing marks - and like people caught in financial scams, they'd rather maintain the lie than admit that they have been had.

Ok, time to tell this story again. My mum was an A&E receptionist in the 70s/80s. It's a weekend night shift, guy has come in after a drunken scrap. Assigned an Asian doctor. Kicks off. Slurs, etc. Hears a very posh voice from the next cubicle. "I want him. The English one".

This is good and is basically proof of something I've been predicting for a while - the hollowing out of the Conservative Party as an institution, and as a result, the erosion of the advantages of incumbency.

But really it just feels like: having a consistent moral code that demands taking Lessers and Outgroup seriously is impossible for populist right.
