Sometimes I still think I can write. To be honest life has been just so busy, with 3 kids in 3 different schools I find most of my time is spent day dreaming, and maybe jotting down notes, if I have the chance. But Time to write is hard to find. Its slow going. But there is development happening

Coming out of retirement to say "I'm writing again, and this time, it involves math, elements from the periodic table, and numerology." ~ May your Variation hold. Paradox 4RD7N: Ardyn

Today's SSP #authorspotlight goes to the author of the Zodiac series and Twisted Retellings, @azshure.bsky.social! Azshure Raine is a mostly stay-at-home mom of 3. She and her husband, Ryan, have been happily married for 13 years and originally met in a MMO.

Out with the old, in with the new. Times change, and so can covers. That's right, ReBirth+ is getting a fresh new look. More info to come! Including a cover reveal date for all 4 new covers and ARCs

Watch this space. In the coming months a few things will be happening, including the release of my second Twisted Retelling: Death Like Sleep at the beginning of 2026. Something exciting is coming for ReBirth. One more, one last time

I'm dragging myself out of hiatus to say that my funny, smutty, romcom romantasy That Time I Was Kidnapped by the Fae King is part of the #naratessindiesale Mybook.to/Kidnapped

Little early today bc I'm going out today. If you're part of the Narratess sale, share your book here! Tell people about it, share a snippet, etc. so they know to grab it from you this weekend! #WritingPrompt

Social Media hasn't been very... helpful lately. I know I should be marketing Kidnapped, or talking about my next retelling, but it's been hard to focus on anything other than nothing. I'm hoping this project will help me find my voice and joy for writing again.

Excuse me while I start a new, secret project.

Do readers like the idea of a Bounty hunter falling for their mark who happens to be a fallen angel? Demons may also be involved.

Is it a tomato? Or is it a pepper?!

Happy Friday, friends! We made it through the week 😌 On Fridays, we're going to ask a question about books. Sometime it'll be for writers, sometimes for readers, sometimes both! Today's #WritingQ: WHY is your MC the MC? What is their motivation to play that role? Did something happen to them?

This goes well with yesterday's prompt too, which i totally flaked on. From That Time I Was Kidnapped by the Fae King

Today I wanted to write. But instead my 15 year old sat next to me and word vomited all his knowledge of PCs, PC parts, and computer world drama. I listened. Because I want him to know he can talk to me, even if it means I can't do what I wanted to do in the first place.

What if I said a Fae shifter was reunited with his p*nis? Would that intrigue you?

"one more, one last time" no really. I try to sneak this phrase in at least once a book, IYKYK

My kids (15m, 11m, and 9f) are watching the OG Jurassic Park with me: Some highlights: All 3 were shocked when the lawyer was eaten off the toilet, 11 laughed.

Its been a while since I've talked about my WIPs Well here's an update: Death Like Sleep is "done" and resting. Its with a few betas atm. But mostly ready for edits. The Drowned Prince is only 11k. And going slow. Motivation is low, but we're plugging away at it.

It's too damn hot.

Drowned Prince has been interesting to work on because the antagonist isn't who readers think it is.

Do you have any antagonists that aren’t necessarily the main villain of your story? #WritingPrompt

I can do this. I can write again.

Trying to write in the state of the world (and a 15 year old who needs to constantly talk) is really hard.

My children are fighting over a giant Panera bag. How's your summer going?

Was it all a dream? Or did a Reaper really just save her? I have a little bit sized tale of a Reaper and a girl he pulls from the waters within the pages of the newest @shadowsparkpub.bsky.social Anthology Sorrows' Dreamer

Oh so much. Also its me, I'm the artist. Featuring some characters from @5feetofredfury.bsky.social and @valeriestorm.bsky.social
