JKR explicitly said she considers anything Potter-related, even fan-made, endorsement of her politics. And every time you engage with this franchise, you signal to the industry that there's still money in it and they should keep pumping out content from full-cast audiobooks to book box partnerships.

Just a reminder that boycotting is a privilege and if someone is restricted from doing so (whether that be by money, diet, or something else) that we shouldn’t judge them for it. Everyone has different ways of fighting against the fascist shitheads and we should point them to accessible methods.

This book hits me right in the childhood. I found this at a local bookstore. I was on my way out the door and just happened to catch a glimpse of it in the corner of my eye. Everyone should read this book immediately.

The 50th anniversary edition of Norton Juster's "The Phantom Tollbooth." It features a cartoon sketch of a young boy nose to nose with a watchdog (by watchdog, we mean a large dog with an equally large watch embedded in his torso).

Reminder: perhaps the easiest & cheapest way to tell Bezos to fuck off is by linking to Bookshop or (even better) an indie bookstore WHENEVER you talk about a book online. W/o a link people will just google it & that will lead to Amazon. W a link you can send a sale to a good business
