i always start my day with like "i am going to do xyz" and then theres some bullshit, and i was complaining to my mom about this and she was like "this is just what its like, isabel" and im like. it shouldnt be like that. this shouldnt be what its like.

had a dream that I was put on the spot to come up with comp titles for my next book if you’re wondering about how authors feel about comp titles. And I LIKE comp titles.

Doing the work doesn't feel like enough, some days.
ive been doing "wearing my lawyer stuff" for most of my book events this year but im sorely tempted to do "wizard cloak" for the book events in the beginning of next year and "hot topic mall goth" for the events late next year. for Theme Reasons you see.
