They have failed to level with Congress and the American people about the cost of the war in treasure and blood. And the media has not held them to account for this. That needs to change, now.

Leadership starts with knowing the facts. If the U.S. is at war, every wounded service member matters. Not knowing how many Americans have been injured is more than a political mistake. It raises serious questions about accountability and preparedness. Congress has every right to demand answers.
