Jill Belch@jillbelch.bsky.social · 3mo agoFrance passed a law in 2022 requiring car parks to install #solar. * Applies if ≥80 spaces * Must cover at least 50% of area * Exemptions (grid constraints, heritage sites) We did it with disabled spaces why not solar? There are obstacles but none are strong enough to justify not doing it at all!
Yes, it's still a good idea. More clouds and rain in the Sahara means more vegetation, more drinking water for animals (including humans) and on top of that still a huge amount of electricity Desertification is a good thing
