No no no no, it is not just "someone with an alcohol problem." There are plenty of folks in this country who struggle with alcohol and don't make the incredibly selfish decision to drive drunk and put the lives of others in danger. Y'all really need to stop making excuses for shitty behavior.

I throughly enjoyed listening to Romo call games. His insight was entertaining and accurate. CBS protects a rapist and pedophiles, but CBS has no grace for a person with an alcohol problem. Another reason to not watch CBS.

Well, he got drunk, he got in a car knowing he was drunk, and he endangered the lives of others doing so. He could have killed someone. A grown ass man with enough money to have a personal driver decided to drive drunk. No sympathy for him. Sorry. And I'm a lifelong Cowboys fan.

Why is it that some people break the law and are cancelled, and others who commit violent/sexual crimes aren't? Romo was one of the interesting and insightful commentators, too.

It never ceases to amaze me that the sort of men who claim women are too impulsive and emotional to be leaders are the same ones who swear sober men become completely incapacitated in reason and empathy in the presence of a drunk woman.

Some folks on the left are really showing their asses over the past 24 hours with their antisemitism and now threatening to split away from the movement over Mayor Mamdani's efforts to combat antisemitism. Okay, then fucking leave. Music to my ears. We don't want you. Bye.

Sigh... it bears repeating: imagine if a Democrat had pulled that shit today in a congressional hearing. Every major newspaper editorial board in the country would be calling for their resignation, and Jake Tapper, through tears, would spend a chunk of his show asking what our country has become.

If you need to catch up on the whole controversy with GOP Sen. Eric Schmitt not knowing his sports and embarrassing himself while attempting to slander a public servant today, I made a 20 min. video explainer. Yes, 20 minutes. And I enjoyed the hell out of making it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfjN...

GOP Senator Eric Schmitt + Most Embarrassing Moment Ever in a Congressional Hearing (FULL EXPLAINER)

I heard through the grapevine that Sen. Eric Schmitt has 18 staffers on his legislative team: 17 men and one woman. The woman on his staff deals exclusively with foreign policy, which means today's disaster during the hearing was all by conservative men who don't know sports.

How is possible that GOP Senator Eric Schmitt had a whole ass team working on today's hearing with Jack Smith and not one of them--including Schmitt--knows the difference between the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Atlanta Hawks? Do none of these people watch sports?

Dear god... GOP Sen. Eric Schmitt clearly loses his shit after it's revealed by Sen. Klobuchar that Schmitt confused the Iowa Hawkeyes college basketball team with the Atlanta Hawks NBA team in his attempt to claim Jack Smith was in Atlanta and colluded with Fani Willis. I'm gobsmacked. Holy shit.

holy shit -- turns out Jack Smith went to a Hawkeyes game in Maryland but Schmitt's team is so reckless they concocted a conspiracy theory that Smith was actually in Atlanta seeing a Hawks game and colluding with Fani Willis. Klobuchar points out to Schmitt, "you have your teams wrong."
