The President is promising to commit war crimes. Gas prices are through the roof. Farmers are looking at the price of diesel and fertilizer and wondering if they can even afford to plant this spring. And Congress is on vacation.

Tom “go get ‘em ICE” Emmer and House Republicans, frustrated with the Senate bill to fund TSA and other DHS agencies, but not ICE/CBP, have decided to try a bold new legislative tactic: Passing the Senate bill to fund TSA and other DHS agencies, but not ICE/CBP.

Overnight, the Senate agreed by unanimous consent on a bill that funds TSA and the rest of the Department of Homeland Security - but not ICE or Border Patrol. The apparent compromise is that the bill does not include any new restrictions on ICE like body cameras or judicial warrant requirements.

I posted this almost a week ago - and I was hoping this was just an empty threat from Tom "go get 'em ICE" Emmer. But seeing the video from Vermont, it's clear it wasn't. I'm *SO* sorry, Vermont; I wish this madness weren't spreading to other states - but it looks like it is.
