finally got one of those author scam emails written by a mega-intelligent mainframe or whatever & feeling both less left out but honestly embarrassed on behalf of whoever programmed the mainframe. it's terrible! it's basically just the jacket copy pasted into an email.
openers masaaki absolutely blindsided me, closing their set with an ethereal synth pop version of doug shaw's "cheated death/smoking ghost." the first of hopefully many doug covers. wish i'd taped it. sleepy forever!
