"Catharsis" is a storytelling technique in which emotions are aroused, and then released, in the audience. It is /cathartic/, which means it leaves the audience feeling lighter, and very much relieved.

I'm going to be at STLV this weekend! Specifically at the 60 Years of Star Trek Showrunners panel on the main stage. SAT 8/8 @ 12:45. A roundtable about how Star Trek has evolved w/ Brannon Braga, Ron Moore, Terry Matalas, Michelle Paradise, Mike McMahan, Andre Bormanis and Kevin & Dan Hageman.

I don't even know what to say. This is real, this is true, so, like, thank you all, from the bottom of my heart. This took over 25 years to happen so if there's any lesson here it's either "keep at it, who knows" or "many people are divorced"

I was walking Murdoch, and there was a wasp, and I told her not to mess with it showing that IF ANYTHING I'm on the wasp's side! But she kept messing with it and it landed on her head, and she shook it off, and then it landed on MY ankle and stung ME and it REALLY HURTS!! and I'm the INNOCENT PARTY!

Walking to a comic book store and grabbing an issue or two of something that looks cool is such a simple pleasure. Grab a friend, some coffee, take it slow and don't worry about collecting. You don't need a plan on what issues to get, let the unknown be what drives you.
