i read the deep by rivers solomon this weekend & it kinda changed my life?
people don’t know how to talk about illness because society doesn’t listen to disabled people. when we talk about ableism on the one hand, we’re largely dismissed, & when we talk about disability justice on the other hand, we become an afterthought.

the way darker skinned black video game female characters are treated has always been pretty horrible both from a dev side and a fandom side. i don’t really see that getting any better but despite it all i still will continue to put dark skin women in my projects
