He would message Valie to "Not get too comfortable" voicing Frutle and put Valie in an uncomfortable position. Despite him almost killing the show, he wanted to somehow come back in. That thankfully did not happen and Boot-up got back to repair itself to it's original position w/ some improvements.
I cut contact with him soon after. Things went by more relaxed and comfortable then ever, until later on this year when reports were coming in from friend circles that the said Former VA/Co-Director, was going to try and squeeze his way back into the Show. Despite all that had happened previously.
It was later discovered that the Former VA/Co-Director who was responsible for the changes, NEVER even liked the show in the first place. He only pretended to like the show because one of his friends was promoting the show through DM groups and Discord servers. When I heard this, It broke me. 💔
Eventually, the rest of the crew including myself put our foots down and gave a huge outcry saying "WE WANT TO DO BOOT-UP THE WAY IT WAS BEFORE!" and it worked. He was then kicked out of the show in favor of the current Voice for Frutle @valishski.bsky.social and a New Co-Director "YuviToons".
EVERYTHING had to be done by HIS perspective, despite ME being the creator of the show. This caused a ripple effect where some voice actors and members of the production crew actually started to leave, including long-time members. I tried moving things along but, It kept getting worse...
Shortly after he got promoted to Co-Director, He tried to Restart EVERYTHING from Scratch. Almost everything the old version was built was scrapped in favor of a squeaky clean G-Rated kiddie version of the show. No Violence, No Blood, No Lore, No Serious Moments, Nothing.
He was a former VA for the character of Frutle. (No, not the one from the Pilot.) When he was brought on, he started off pretty great and was helping out with a few details during production. When Ep. 2 was near it's completion however, that's when things started to really struggle...
I think it's about time I make a follow-up on this as people were very worried and wondering why Boot-up entered in this deep in a development hell. I will state that I am NOT gonna be mentioning his name and do NOT go harassing him over it. This is to simply clear air. 🧵 #bootup

I might as well bring this up since it seems like perfect timing. There WAS going to be an Anti-AI Disclaimer at the end of the credits of Episode 2 of Boot-up, but it ended up being scrapped because an ex-member on the team thought it would be annoying. Do we bring it back?
Had that dream again of Alkaline and Happy together. I think it was like happy was taking therapy with alkaline and discovering they have a bunch of things that they have in common. #bootup
