It's almost like not all rich people value tax avoidance at the expense of everything else in their lives! Just the anti-social unpatriotic selfish jerks, and there aren't that many who will actually pack up and move.
The flight of the extremely well-heeled is almost always overstated. www.wbur.org/news/2026/07...
The press conference for Trump’s vaccine executive order made one thing abundantly clear. Follow for more cartoons!
Amen. Let’s face it, actions can have consequences.
As I've said many times, there may be some cases where I think the reactions went too far personally, but I've never seen a case of "cancel culture" that wasn't just people exercising their own rights of speech/association.
Tell me you don’t understand office visit co-pays without telling me you don’t understand office visit co-pays.

WTF, NYer. "If we agree that college primarily serves a credentialling process that stamps select young people as worthy of work..." We do not. So much for the bastion of erudite journalism. This is sensationalism, damaging our most vital institution: education. www.newyorker.com/news/fault-l...

The state took 42 years off this man’s life. That sum, of which he hasn’t seen any, does not seem NEARLY enough compensation.
1. Exonerated after 42 years in prison, Elvis Brooks is eligible for up to $480,000 as compensation. But because of Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill, he still hasn’t seen a single cent... (THREAD) @propublica.org @veritenews.org
