I’ll be arriving in Budapest tomorrow for the Climate Arena conference as one of this year’s climate reporting fellows. If you’ll be there and want to grab a coffee, give me a shout! Also send recommendations of things to do in the city, as I’ll have some time either side 😊

Delighted to have been selected as a Climate Arena Fellow this year. What a group! 🗞️ Excited to work with everyone on our investigative journalism projects over the coming months, and to take part in the conference later this year 🌍 🌱

Day three in Louth and this is turning out to be one of the longest counts in the country. 19th count is underway (again, as a recheck is currently happening for that count). 3 out of 5 seats yet to be filled.

Counting has resumed in Louth, with the 10th count just in. SF incumbent Ruairí Ó Murchú still taking the lead with 8,879 votes, followed by fellow SF Joanna Byrne with 8,319 votes, and Labour’s Ged Nash at 7,747. No one has been elected yet as quota hasn’t been reached.
