I have a weird fear that if there's anything stray on the mat, a wrestler is going to slip on it and wreck their knee. (Which is why I always notice referees who clear stuff away.) On NXT last night two women were running across the ring while having to avoid two title belts and four microphones.

Someone who know Mary-Kate might know the answer to this but how is there so few high quality photos of mid 2000s ROH on line? Are they the property of the promotion and they just never released them or does MK own them and she's made the choice to keep them private? Would make a great photo book.
I originally wrote off the Soya/Iino team as a whacky comedy thing they were doing either for one tour or as an undercard act. But seeing them now, it's clearly something they are committed too and that the crowd treat seriously. It's pretty much like GET WILD was in 2011/2012 which is a complement!

Stevie Borden's strengths & weaknesses are identical to his Dad at the same stage. Watching him is so like watching 1986 Mid-South Sting. Same herky-jerky movements where nothing looks smooth but it's so explosive at the same time. Very comfortable with being emotive in the ring just like his Da.

I loved this match. Was probably the coolest thing Butcher got to do in AEW. He was awesome in it. I met him once. Me & Sarah took shelter with him and Tom End under a tent in the pissing rain at Download Festival in 2017. Had a very nice chat with him and he seemed like a cool guy.
