from the perspective of an audience member, your performance, energy, and sound drowned out almost everything about him. I can’t imagine how difficult that was to deal with when he was 10ft from you, but it doesn’t make your artistry lesser. Thank you for everything, the evening was better with you

Really tired of playing shows where rly triggering shit happens lol. Getting yelled at and heckled for like half my set last night, I dissociated so hard I don't even remember playing for the last 30min

Ive spent the last couple months designing and testing out a series of rituals/group exercises and have shared them with some pretty large groups irl. They've all gone super well and I'm trying to figure out a format for sharing the tools in them with folks online....

It's cool feeling like I'm getting closer to and more in tune with myself(s) this past year or so despite how uncomfortable it can be. I think it's deepening my capacity for feeling connected and alive and whole

Oh hey if folks are interested im doing a live improv ambient performance in the woods in North Seattle area next Saturday! Should be very pretty!

I’m reprising Tenebrae in Ravenna Park, Seattle, next Saturday (8/1), 7–10 pm. NOTAFLOF. Joined by @dirtsecret.bsky.social & @lunarrabbit.bsky.social performing their incredible & creaturely musics. Plus tea, vendors, an evening of poetry and ritual beneath the trees. Please come by & join the howl!

Promotional poster for A Sermon in the Forest. Against a dark woodland at dusk, a performer wearing a white wolf headdress and flowing cream robe raises a glowing candle, illuminating their outstretched arm. Handwritten white text reads “Shimi & Friends present” above the title A Sermon in the Forest. The poster advertises a performance of Tenebrae, described as “a ritual of music, poetry & sound art,” with supporting performances by Moon Rabbit and FRRN. Additional text lists poetry, live music, vendors and a tea tent. Event details at the top read: 8/1/26, 7–10 pm, Ravenna Park. The overall design evokes a mysterious, candlelit ritual in the forest.

I've been feeling so stuck and like I'm pacing around my enclosure lately so it'll be sooooo good to be running around out in the wild and foraging for a bit again
