The aroma of Coca-Cola, melted M&M's, and stale popcorn marinating in a movie theater trash can. mid.winters.rodeo moviejawn.com contributor, Philly resident
We watched CHUNGKING EXPRESS tonight. I will be singing California Dreamin’ from now until I die.
I’m operating on very little sleep and Instagram has been serving me depressing sad stories on Reels so I’m having one of those nights
I wanted to enjoy VERITY, but it’s too safe and has all the cinematic style of an edgy GAP commercial.
To tell you the truth, VERITY disappoints — Moviejawn

Got tix to the @filmadelphia.org showing of BEHEMOTH with the man Tony himself in attendance
If you hated DIGGER, a movie about how movies don’t matter, then you’ll also hate my article from last summer about how movies don’t matter.

Stuck my arm over a boiling kettle steam spout for half a second this morning. Really wracking up wins in the body department lately.
Johns Hopkins inspired NEUROSURGERY in the back alley behind your favorite dive bar
Emma D’Arcy, John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Tom Cruise, and Sandra Hüller is such a strange combination of cast members. Maybe I’m just too familiar with the same 20 actors getting all the roles.
Strained my tricep doing cobras and cat-cows and now I can’t brush my teeth normal. How’s everyone else doing
Got my Primetime tickets for tomorrow. I’m not getting Camp Miasma’d again.
I stress-cleaned-and-reorganized the entire kitchen last night and had physical therapy this morning. Fuck me I am tired and sore.
The Testament of Ann Lee vinyl album gets here today. The Secret Agent from Criterion gets here tomorrow.
I’m looking at a sage green Mazda 3 with a bumper sticker that says ‘my other car is a sewing machine’
What do you mean Freddie Fox modeled Spider off of Anthony Scaramucci.
"The main character, Ethan Hawke‘s Samuel Murphy, might be Steinbeck’s plainspoken Tom Joad reimagined as an action hero...Hawke understands that in movie acting, sometimes the best approach is to let your face do the talking."
