Okay, I went with four movies I don’t own in my collection that I very much want.
I saw this site a while ago, but I don't think it had this fun photo feature. Anyway, four Criterion movies I really like.

The only joy I’ve ever had watching anything by Eli Roth is hearing the scathing commentary from my wife, who is from the South Shore of Massachusetts, on the geographical and cultural inaccuracies present in Roth’s Thanksgiving.
After years of being forced to move several boxes to reach my comics boxes, it is now nice to just pull search through a longbox without that hassle.
Trying to find writing jobs so I can get out of my miserable day job and depressing how many AI training jobs there are for remote workers.

I have asked for help quite a lot lately, and I’m sorry for that - things have been weird and hard and staying afloat has sometimes felt impossible. I’m -$160 in the red. If you buy a zine or leave a tip, it would help me so, so much - anything helps, even just shares!! 😭💛🫶🏻

Definitely frustrated and bored with the NWR film and I say this as someone who liked The Neon Demon.

Picked up the final issue of Swamp Thing ‘89 yesterday and it’s a bittersweet moment. Incredible that this story finally reached its conclusion. A little sad it was so brief. Four of some truly excellent comics made here.
Robert eulogizing the great Bizarro-Wuxtry better than I think anyone else could. Especially if you’ve never been there.
I wrote a eulogy for the best comic book store in the world at @comicsjournal.bsky.social I would appreciate it if you'd take a few minutes to read it. www.tcj.com/heartaches-b...

Had a blast writing this piece about Evil Dead Burn as a work of Gothic Horror.
It might be gross but there's a spooky heart that beats underneath the latest #EvilDead.

Every time I’m reminded Amanda Palmer is a person, I’m reminded why I tried hard to put her out of my head in the first place.
I miss Keith and Mike’s previous podcast about box office hits so I’m excited to see them start a new podcast.

I talked to Mitch McConnell for a few minutes this morning. It was not... great.
Okay, had a night to sleep on it but I loved every gory minute of Evil Dead Burn. Vicious and nasty but with a bilious and dark sense of humor bubbling underneath. It won’t be for everyone but then neither was the original.
OPINION: The Case for Reformatted Print Comics to Vertical Scroll Comics Not every print comic survives the formatting to vertical scroll, but when done well, it can make superhero stories feel just as engaging and accessible as any native vertical comic.
