"dododistort", a song in the making since September 2025 and based on ColossalColossal's original "dododo", will be seeing an official streaming release on July 29th of this year! I'll make a blog post on my website going more into detail about this new single.

I just heard about Oliver Tree's passing. Over six years ago, I was introduced to him for the first time through the song "People" that an online friend showed me. Fast forward to now, and I'm just... shocked. I thought he was gonna live for much longer.

I decided I'm only gonna use Soundcloud to upload music that I wouldn't normally distribute to streaming platforms. I don't see paying the same amount of money (or more) I pay to use Amuse just to upload to one platform as being worth it in my eyes. Sorry to my (lack of) Soundcloud listeners :P

Here's a random screenshot of the FM Ad Break visualizer while it's currently rendering. Hopefully it doesn't take five whole hours like DaVinci Resolve says it will.

Here's an old version of the cover art for the next single I plan on releasing soon: "FM Ad Break". The initial goal was to make something as late 90s / early 2000s techno as possible with the artwork (no matter how jank). I'll show the final artwork when I got a confirmed release date for the song.

This is how I currently stand on the "Be Mine" remix contest that I let myself get involved with. Read the text on the image for full context, but in short, I do not wish to have this remix go out.

Over a month ago, I worked on and submitted a remix of James Hype's "Be Mine" for the remix contest that he was doing. This was a very in-the-moment thing because it was the first time I had heard of a big artist giving just about anyone the chance to do a remix of their song. I've reflected on this more after the fact and have done more searching related to James Hype. I try to be very careful about not letting myself get involved with generative AI, both on a consumption and creation standpoint. I can not stand the idea of it for the life of me. When I made this remix, I may have been lying to myself on the thought that an electronic artist this big would be more against using generative AI for music. I'm normally very good at guessing what's AI and what's not, but I let that overconfidence get the better of me. Now that I've found out he's one of the most pro-AI DJs out there as of recent (I'm shocked about how few people talk about this), I wish to dissociate from this entirely, as the remix I made was me getting involved with something that I am purely against. You will continue to hear more remixes from me, but this specific one I plan to never have go out.
