A clear sighted joint-statement today from the Secretaries of State today on Nature & Climate. And a big commitment to sort out the financial drivers of deforestation.
Commemorating the London Bombings at St Paul’s this morning on the 20th Anniversary of that terrible day. Praying for the families and all those affected and for the safety of our great city.
I had the honour to give the keynote at the launch of the Mexico Parliament’s International Conservation Caucus, who have just secured Mexico’s ratification of the Global Oceans Treaty. Congratulations Mexico! Come on U.K. Let’s follow Mexico!
Proud to support the App Drivers and Couriers in their fight for fair treatment.

GB News between 9pm and 11pm was "A Grooming Gang Special". It was tv aimed squarely at Britain's far right and for getting clicks on social media. Why was a Labour MP prepared to appear on this garbage? Barry Gardiner should be ashamed of himself. @uklabour.bsky.social @barrygardiner.bsky.social
Today I was saddened to hear of the passing of Manmohan Singh. One of India’s most distinguished economists and twice Prime Minister. His economic reforms laid the foundation of the superpower that is modern India yet every time I met him what impressed me was his gentle humility. RIP.
Pleased that my very first post on SkyBlue is about the need for a GCSE in Natural History.
