A multicentre study led by Finland has shown that lymph node transfer is a viable treatment for swelling in the affected limb, a condition known as #lymphedema, after #BreastCancer surgery. The study found that the surgery significantly improved women's quality of life. @europeancancer.bsky.social

Pre-print of another great collaboration at Medicity: Reserachers have profiled lymphatic vasculatures in lymph nodes from breast cancer patients using scRNA-seq. LN metastases dramatically reshape these vasculatures, generating abnormal subsets, and further promoting cancer metastases!
