Catching up on some #USL-C and #USL-1 international duty from yesterday... Lexington SC's Noble Okello went 90 minutes as Uganda took a 1-0 win against Libya in #AFCON Qualifying - won 3/4 ground duels, made two recoveries and two interceptions in midfield. Two wins from two for the Cranes.

Big night (again) for Phillip Goodrum. He's only the second player in #USL-C history with hat tricks in consecutive games, and ties the other person to do it - Dane Kelly - for the most hat tricks in regular season history with four overall.

🤝 Sources: FC Tulsa's sporting director Caleb Patterson-Sewell and head coach Luke Spencer have signed multi-year contract extensions at the club. Tulsa secures two crucial pieces after winning the West and making a run to the USL Championship Final last year. @backheeled.com.

The most positive takeaway from this FIFA / private investment scandal? WE HAVE A VOICE. We are not powerless to stupid change dictated by — and serving — the power brokers of the global soccer and collective financial bottom lines. Well done to UEFA for being the first to step up.

This is the way, go with what interest the new fans, let them have their own journey. If they find their local club, that is great, if they want to just watch messi, also great. The best thing we can do right now is to help guide people at their pace, not try to get them to where we want them.

Converted 3 coworkers into actually clicking the MLS tab on their Apple TV sub this morning after they said “I want to follow soccer after the World Cup, where does Messi play?”

You know how insane MLS would have gone with the Messi World Cup Champion content? Well it will absolutely not surprise you to learn that they have decided to go just as crazy with the Messi ALMOST World Cup Champion content.
