Writing is an endless experiment. Take risks, write wild, and let yourself be a hot mess—it’s the only way to grow! 🌱🌱

Why does Korea have a holiday for the alphabet? Because unlike other writing systems that evolved over centuries, Hangul was the work of one dude who solved mass illiteracy by sitting down and creating a brand new fully-formed system from scratch that anyone can learn almost instantly.

Happy Hangul Day! It's a Korean holiday honoring the best and easiest alphabet in the world! Everyone in Korea gets the day off work to contemplate it, but it only takes fifteen minutes to learn! So today, learn to read Korean in 15 minutes!

Somebody asked me the other day if I had tried dyeing blanks, and the answer is yes! Here’s how you get them back into a hank (you have to de-crimp them after this but that’s another video ☺️). Fun fact: that wooden tool I’m winding it onto is one the best named tools in textiles: the niddy-noddy 🧶

I'm trying to decide if I want to go to the coffee shop to write. I should. But it's raining. And it's 11am. Is that too late to go? Maybe the rain will make it less busy? I'm so torn. I'm already dressed. I'm just waffling about going. How do normal people make simple decisions? Cannot relate.
