Some seem afraid of adding firearms to their fantasy settings, almost like they worry that guns would cheapen their worlds... but don't show the same concern for how MAGIC would affect military stuff - to say nothing about other areas of life! My 14th/15th century-based fantasy DOES have guns!

The only reason firearms would look out of place in the type of fantasy I see is because the author, much like OP, doesn't know about their history and can't imagine making fantasy weapons out of them.

For the past little bit I've been asking friends in various groups to give me a blorbo so I could make a bunch of stickers for funsies. I blinked and now I made 40 of them. Admittedly like three are mine but I couldn't stand to break up a ttrpg set. #art

The majority of the troops at Drakescale Pass were the guild levies - regiments of smiths, masons, and farmers, all outfitted by their guilds. Armoured in maille and jacks and bearing tall shields, they made up for in bravery and numbers what they lacked in training. #nerdlings

At Drakescale Pass, Queen Audhild fought upon a shield borne by two of her Queen's Guard knights. From this vantage she could view the battlefield above the heads of her troops to see where the fighting was thickest and bring her halberd down on the heads of even the tallest troll. #nerdlings
