In this case, I'm matching some Saxon STLs I've got with my mate's Victrix Vikings - I've got the knights to compare my prints to to make sure I'm not way out of wack and I'm scaling roughly right, but didn't want to rely on the knights if they were some sort of different scale! ☺️
Jason, the Okayest Painter@theokayestpainter.bsky.social · 4d agoAs far as I can tell, yes, but scale is a discussion that's been popping up recently and the consensus seems to be that slight variations aren't that jarring. Humans are different sizes, so it's ok for minus to vary slightly; as long as you're not mixing 54mm in with 28, you should be good.
Weird question, but does anybody with experience of Victrix miniatures know whether their scale is internally consistent across their ranges? That is to say - are their medieval knights and footmen the same scale as their Vikings and Saxons? One would expect so, but I'm not gonna assume! #nerdlings
I had my final appointment at the GIC today. Got the hormones, had the laser, done the voice coaching, and I'm a poor candidate (read: too fat) for anything more invasive. Weirdly emotional. For years this was the point I was striving for, and now... into the sunset, I guess?
