There are a bunch of people I get to work with at Microsoft who are genuinely passionate about making things better. Better products. Better supporting materials. They light up my workday.

The work in my AI-assisted workflow is the human review, the tricky decision making. These reviews are where I could argue for or against my own decision but I have to draw a line. GitHub Copilot gave me good reasoning but I still overruled some.

Monday in Australia. A webinar this afternoon & a documentation review I'm working through. About 30 articles to make a judgement call on before I start issuing PRs. Never thought I'd say Doc and PR in same sentence but at this scale (docs and people) it makes reviews much easier.

Definitely not 72, but USA does give more injections v Australia bc: - Hep A for all babies - more, separate doses for some vaccines - doesn't use 'combination scheduling' as much. Australia has 1 needle for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, hepatitis B, polio, Hib. Go combo your vaccines, simple.

i personally think polymarket and all companies like it should be regulated out of existence and their assets seized by the state

Tech is moving so fast that I can't date anything "month year" any more, I'm using full dates of when conversations happened. Oh you spoke in July? Early July or late July because that matters.

I've largely avoided the AI debate because there are so many parts to the conversation, but I'm getting annoyed enough that I might need to rant. And it may not be the rant you expect.

If I can watch anything on Netflix. I'll probably choose a doco. 14 Peaks was an amazing reveal into battling the elements to achieve a goal. It's been confirmed that Nimsdai & the rest of his climbing party perished in the Broad Peak avalanche this week. He had a deep respect for the mountain. RIP.

I try and keep Friday afternoons for low stress work. Today I woke up with an idea for something I want to build, to help with future demos. A couple of meetings first then I'll see how far I get.
