Mother's Day is hard for since I lost my mom right before Mother's day of 2018. But this little girl right here, Hemera, is the reason I get to celebrate this day. My whole world...my mini me...my partner-in-crime...my cosplay buddy! She's the reason I get the celebrate this day!
8 years ago today, my mom lost her battle with cancer. She fought hard, she was strong, she was a warrior. No matter how old I was, if I had a bad day, I would crawl in bed with her just so she could snuggle me. I love you mom. I miss you every day.

Sunday morning, the @ffbmovienight.bsky.social mascot, my beautiful girl, Sookie, passed away. I had her on my bed and was petting her until she took her final breath. She was the best cat, my companion, my emotional support. Wait for me at the rainbow bridge, Sookie. I miss you so much!

In case anyone asks, I turned 29 today 😉. And, yes, today is my birthday yesterday Hemera turned 10. If Hemera had waited six more hours, she would have been born on my bday.
Yesterday we adopted this beautiful, smokey grey kitty. He came with the name Tweety so we extended it into Tweety Todd after the late, great Tony Todd. We have him in his own room for now to help him adapt to his new home. We bought him his own kitty bed but this upturned chair is better. Lol

Hemera's first day of school today! 4th grade, watch out! If anyone has had thr pleasure to meet this girl, will know she is beautiful inside and out! She's is so kind and compassionate AND is a horror fan as well! She's totally awesome!
