WSJ wrote a 1,300-word article abt the MS Senate race w/o mentioning Callais once. Definitely worth reading it--it's far better than that Axios ragebait abt MI you're all whining about. But they don't even talk abt how much Trump has fucked over farmers. www.wsj.com/politics/ele...

Why Are Democratic Donors Putting Money Into a Long-Shot Mississippi Senate Race?

George Soros and other big Democratic donors have an eye on a seat the GOP has safely held for decades.

How is it not news when the president nods off in public meetings and press conferences dozens of times? If you follow independent media, you see it and know about it. But why hasn’t CBS, NBC or ABC showed a montage of it on their evening news? They simply refuse to ever show it.

"A brand new CNN poll shows President Trump at an all time low in his approval rating... look at his net approval rating now with pure independents - it's negative 71 points! I mean, these are the deep depths of the ocean. You never see numbers like these. An 86 point shift away from the president!"

Abdul El-Sayed: "Weijia, with all due respect, this is the third time you've asked about a Twitch streamer ... their whole game is to make us fight culture wars so that we don't pay attention to the fact the president has made $2.2 billion ... "

I think the general consensus of people around the world is that Americans can get fooled by a con man once, but to return him to power a 2nd time after having seen his corruption, incompetence, ignorance, & buffoonery, the problem isn’t just Trump it’s the American people.

on this day in 1854 Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden” is first published. “Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.” “A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone.”

Dear American voter, It is August 6, 2026. Economic growth is slow, prices are up, housing and health care is unaffordable, we are in a war Trump started, we are $39 trillion in debt, corruption in govt is rampant. What are Republicans focused on AGAIN today? Dr. Fauci.

happy bday English writer/illustrator/conservationist Beatrix Potter, b.1866. “All outward forms of religion are almost useless, and are the causes of endless strife. . . . Believe there is a great power silently working all things for good, behave yourself and never mind the rest.”

How many more soldiers have to die for Trump’s ridiculous war? How many more billions do we have to spend? How many more thousands is it going to cost American families in higher prices? When will Republicans in Congress finally stop acting like neutered cultists?

Juneteenth marks the celebration of America's second independence day. Like the people in this photo—Texans celebrating Juneteenth in 1900—we know that progress hasn't made our union perfect. But we can recommit to reaching toward that more perfect union together. Happy Juneteenth.

If you watch the Obama Library, the World Cup, and the Knicks parade this afternoon -- and nothing else -- you can actually see the America we're supposed to be at age 250

All the Iran hawks said that the way to get rid of Iran’s hardline regime, nuclear program, missiles, and support for terrorism was to go to war with Iran. We went to war with Iran. And the hardline regime, nuclear program, missiles and terrorism aid are all still there.
