These illustrations make me so emotional. Their individual growth along with all the support and influences over their lives gets me choked up. These are such beautiful illustrations by Furudate-sensei that give a glimpse into their minds. +

Kagayama-centric illustration that shows the stages of his life from a baby wrapped around a volleyball, as a young kid holding a volleyball, the next in his middle school uniform, going to toss the ball up, his Karasuno age/uniform of him starting to jump, his pro league age with his Schweiden uniform of him lifting off the ground, and last his Ali Roma uniform completely jumping in the air. The progression is very dynamic across the page from left to right. Behind Kageyama is a mosaic of panels of people important in his life and influence in his journey. Panels of Hinata boarder it on the left and right. On the left is a panel of Hinata from their middle school match, a front view of his face as he's jumping to spike. On the right is Hinata in his Black Jackals uniform, landing from a spike - we only see his back. Other panels included are images of: Kindaichi and Kunimi from middle school, Tanaka, Asahi, Tsukki, Daichi, and Noya bunched together. Yachi teaching him, Saeko in front of her van, Yamaguchi tossing a server. Larger panels of Ukai, Takeda, Hibarida and Hitaki. A panel that spans the whole vertical section behind his pro leaps features his grandfather Kazuyo. There are then panels of setters: Oikawa and Suga being the largest, then Atsumu, then a smaller trio of Kenma, Kogane, and Akaashi. Like Kageyama's, this illustration shows the stages of Hinata's life but reversed from right to left and is likewise bracketed by panels of Kageyama. The main illustrations of Hinata show him as a child, then in middle school, then Karasuno, "Ninja Shoyo"/Brazil/Beach volleyball, Black Jackals, and finally in his São Paulo uniform. His kid version is just him looking up at and then progressing into a great leap. The rightmost panel is Kageyama from after their middle school match, of his soon-to-be-rival yelling at him outside. The left most image is Kageyama in the Olympics on a TV. The panels we see behind him are: Daichi, Suga, Asahi, Shimizu, Tanaka, Noya, Yachi, Yamaguchi, and Tsukishima - all from important moments throughout the story. Slightly larger, we have a panels of Kenma, Bokuto, and Ushijima. More smaller panels of Aone, Hiragumi and Hoshiumi, and Atsumu. The largest/longest panel is of the back of Karasuno's former number 10 and former Little Giant leaping through the air - the first image that Hinata saw that made him want to play volleyball. Next are large panels of Takeda, both Ukais, Washijo, and his Brazil group. Lastly, before Kageyama, is the panel of Oikawa sharing a meal with him in Brazil.
